Our selection criteria focus on identifying early-stage startups with high potential for global impact. Key factors include:
-
The Team: A strong, dedicated, and coachable founding team with relevant expertise that works full time on the idea.
-
The Technology/Idea: An innovative and disruptive technological concept or a unique solution addressing a significant market pain point.
-
Market Potential: A large, addressable market and a scalable business model.
-

-
No, we take No Equity in the companies that go through our program. 8200 EISP is a non-profit program, funded by sponsors, partners, and volunteers, aimed at promoting the Israeli tech ecosystem. However, to ensure serious commitment from the entrepreneurs to the intensive process, there is a symbolic commitment fee charged once upon acceptance into the program. This amount does not cover the program's costs and is primarily intended to ensure seriousness and mutual commitment.
Our program provides comprehensive support, but a core pillar is our dedicated mentorship structure. Each participating startup benefits from personalized 1:1 Mentorship to the CEO and the CTO. You'll be matched with experienced mentors – successful entrepreneurs, industry experts, investors, and senior executives (many from the 8200 alumni network and beyond) – based on your specific needs. These mentors provide tailored guidance on strategy, product development, technology, fundraising, market validation, operations, and navigating the challenges of building a successful company. This is complemented by targeted workshops, networking events, and access to our extensive ecosystem.
